Four names. One letter apart. Four different companies.
"Credicorp" and "Creditcorp" turn up on three continents, attached to businesses that have never met each other. This page tells them apart by register, by market, and by what each one actually does.
Side by side
The four entities compared
One row is this UK group. The other three are not connected to it in any way — no shared ownership, no licensing arrangement, no shared director.
| Entity | Jurisdiction | Public listing / register | What sets it apart |
|---|---|---|---|
| Credicorp Limited & CM Beyer Limited (this group) | United Kingdom | Private companies — Companies House 16093826 and 17009212 | A short-term business lender and its UK brand-stewardship company. Not listed on any stock exchange. |
| Credicorp Ltd (Peru & Bermuda) | Peru / Bermuda | New York Stock Exchange, ticker BAP | Parent of Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP). A large, long-established Latin American banking group with no ownership link to the UK entities above. |
| Credit Corp Group Limited | Australia | Australian Securities Exchange, ticker CCP | An Australian consumer-finance and debt-purchase group. Two words in its name. Distinct from Creditcorp Pty Limited, the UK group's own related Australian entity. |
| Creditcorp (Nigeria) | Nigeria | Not established at this registry | A business occasionally trading under a similar name in Nigeria. No ownership, licensing or other link to the UK group. |
This UK group
Credicorp Limited and CM Beyer Limited
Two private UK companies under one shared sole director. Credicorp Limited (company number 16093826) is the operating lender and holds the registered Creditcorp mark. CM Beyer Limited (company number 17009212) holds the newer, published Creditcorp mark and publishes both the group's corporate site and this registry. Neither company is listed on any stock exchange. Both records sit on public file at Companies House — check them directly rather than take our word for it.
The two marks coexist under a written agreement dated 30 April 2026. Full text and both trade-mark register entries are on creditcorpgroup.co.uk/trade-marks.
Not this group
The three that get confused with it
Credicorp Ltd — Peru & Bermuda (NYSE: BAP)
The parent of Banco de Crédito del Perú, one of the largest financial groups in Latin America. Listed on the New York Stock Exchange under ticker BAP. Founded decades before either UK company existed, operating at a scale this UK group does not claim. Sharing a name is the only thing the two have in common.
Credit Corp Group Limited — Australia (ASX: CCP)
A listed Australian consumer-finance and debt-purchase business. Two separate words in its name, a public listing on the ASX, and a business model — buying and collecting consumer debt — this UK group does not run. Not to be confused with Creditcorp Pty Limited, this UK group's own related Australian entity (ACN 679 428 605), which is a different company again.
Creditcorp — Nigeria
A name that surfaces from time to time attached to a Nigerian business. No filing, licence or agreement connects it to Credicorp Limited or CM Beyer Limited. If a Nigerian "Creditcorp" contacted you, it was not this group.
